On Tuesday the 12th of December 2017, Lagos big boy Segun Adebutu, the son of Premier Lotto boss popularly called Baba Ijebu, officially launched his Petrolex Tank farm.
According to reports, the tank farm is the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa, sitting on 30,000 acres of land with over 600million litres in storage capacity and a 4,000 truck parking space and accommodation for truck drivers. This enormous structure is located at Ibefun Ijebu in Ogun State and its launch had in attendance top political dignitaries and the who is who of Nigerian high society.
To also commend Segun Adebutu for this historical feat, was Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari who flew in for a private inspection and pledged the support of the presidency.
Top dignitaries at the launch were: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun; Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom; Governor Of Ondo state, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, who was represented his deputy Hon. Agboola Ajayi; Governor of Oyo state Abiola Ajimobi; Senate President Bukola Saraki, who was represented by Senator Dino Melaye.
Segun Adebutu’s father, Sir Adebutu Kensington, was also in attendance; the Minister for state petroleum Mr Ibe Kachukwu; The GMD NNPC, Mr Baru Mikanti; former Ondo Governor Olusegun Mimiko; Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Oba Victor Adeboye, among other dignitaries and royal fathers.
