Ifeanyi Ubah Honoured With ‘Grand Commander’ Award by Ohaneze Ndigbo

The Chairman of Capital Oil, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, was decorated with several awards by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos state branch, at ‘Igbo Ezue 2017’.The Ohanaeze Ndigbo is an organisation that represents Igbos within and outside of Nigeria, even as it stands for peace, unity and promoting the Igbo language, culture and integration of all Ndigbo.

Presenting the Awards to Dr. Ubah, the former leader, Igbo Market Association,  Lagos state, Mr. Nnamdi Ndigwe (Odejinji) stated that the award became imperative, in the recognition and appreciation of Ubah’s immense contributions and efforts towards the growth of Ndi-Igbo land and Nigeria at large.

Mr Nnamdi, equally maintained that Dr. Ubah’s Capital Oil and Gas; Authority Newspaper and other investments have continued to play crucial roles in promoting Igbo’s image and reducing job insecurities among others.

In his acceptance speech, Dr Ubah thanked the organization for what they stand for. He stressed the need for “everyone to identify with ‘Afa Igbo Efuna Project’ so that Ndi-Igbo would be liberated from bad governance and policies which has continued to deny us our deserved growth and development in Igbo land.”

He also added that Ndi-Igbo should continue to identify with Igbo language and culture as they remain our symbols of identity.
