Itohan Ferguson

Nigeria is set to meet Iceland today, 22nd June 2018 at 4pm West African Time, in a match laden with expectation. As it stands, it is pivotal that the Super Eagles clinch a win, as they lost their match against Croatia in a 2-0 scoreline, leaving them at the bottom of the table at the moment. With so much hanging in the balance, Nigerian fans all over the world are anticipating the match against Iceland and are hopeful for a win.

Recall that Argentina was disgraced yesterday by the fearsome Croatians in a 3-0 scoreline, leaving many wondering if the football giants are becoming tamed kittens.

Other matches scheduled for today are: Brazil and Costa Rica at 1pm West African Time; Serbia and Switzerland at 7pm West African Time.

Hopefully the Super Eagles like Papillo will make us proud.
