Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez says Paul Pogba will ve welcomed to the Camp as the midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
With reports of a rift between Pogba and his manager at United, Jose Mourinho, Suarez has become the second Barcelona player after Pique to throw an open invitation for the French midfielder.
The World Cup winner was linked to the Camp Nou all through the summer and Saurez has stated that he would be welcomed with open arms if he decides to join them.
“Pogba is an elite player – he has won everything,” the Uruguayan told RAC1 . “He has a lot of quality and he is a key player for United.
“I think he would like to be competing for more [silverware] than he is at the moment. He may not be a Barca player yet, but he would always be welcome.”
Pogba’s French teammate, Griezmann was another player who was linked with the Catalans. With reports also suggesting he was going to be Suarez’ replacement but Suarez thinks otherwise.
“It was a surprise [that he stayed at Atletico],” he went on. “But you have to respect his decision, which he made with his family. He earned everyone’s respect.
“There was some people saying I would leave if he came in, but I don’t know where that came from. If he came, he would have been well received because he’s an excellent player.”
