Pep Guardiola Has revealed he’d like to finish his career at Barcelona’s youth ranks where he started his career.

Guardiola started what has been an illustrious coaching career with Barcelona’s B team in 2007 before managing one of the club’s most successful spell between 2008 and 2012.

He moved to Bayern Munich in 2013 before joining Manchester in 2016.

“I will finish again where I started. My last steps will be in the youth teams – I hope at Barca. I believe it’s – to start, it’s the best.” The 47-year-old told Spanish TV:

Pep would however not be going back to the Camp Nou as a head coach.

“My time there as a coach is finished because I’m not the same as I was then, nor is the way they see me the same,” Guardiola said.

“I had the time of my life there, when the world was our oyster, with some incredible players.

“I was at a fantastic age in which I was taking on the world. We took it on with some incredible players, a young president (Joan Laporta), Txiki (Begiristain).

“It was a generation of brutal players and the best player in the world (Lionel Messi). The stars aligned.”
