Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice in Arsenal’s Europa League 4-2 win over Vorskla at the Emirates.
Two Aubameyang goals – one in each half – and goals from Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck
The Gunners playing with a much changed side had to deal with the stubbornness of the visitors in the early exchanges but once the first goal went in, the floodgates opened.
Aubameyang opened the scoring on thirty-two minutes when he placed an Alex Iwobi low cross after Mhkitaryan had found him on the counter.
Three minutes after the restart, Welbeck headed in his second goal of the campaign via a Mkhitaryan cross.
Mkhitaryan again found Aubameyang on 54 minutes as the Gabonese got his second on the night.
Ozil made it four, sixteen minutes from time before the visitors pulled two back late on through Chesnakov (76) and V. Sharpar (90+4).
Arsenal will now switch focus to the premier league where they face Everton on Sunday. The gunners would be looking to get their fourth consecutive victory in the league.
