Currently fear is looming among the youths, as Nigerians lose faith in INEC.  Such that many have no confidence in the power of the PVC. Following the questionable electoral practice in Ekiti and Osun governorship election.

Months ago there was an outcry for Nigerians to get their PVC  and vote come the general elections in 2019.

However there is doubt amongst Nigerian youths that the elections in 2019, may not be free and fair. There are comparisons between the 2015 elections and what will portend in 2019.

At the moment, the Nigerian youths have lost faith in INEC and its chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu and are there is nationwide clamour for his resignation. Thusly, if the governorship election is this volatile, how safe would the presidential election in 2019 be?

The political situation in Nigeria is nothing short of abysmal. A pertinent question on everybody’s lips, is the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), of any value?

Many wonder if Mahmoud Yakubu will tow the pious line of his predecessor, Attahiru Jega.

But there is no optimism that the mandate of the people will be respected as the very tenets of democracy is subverted.

Nigerians lose faith in INEC.
