Antoine Griezmann will get better as the team play improves according to Atletico Madrid coach, Diego Simeone.
The French forward has just two goals this season from eight games but his manager feels it will get better.
Los Rojiblancos have had a stop start season in the league, getting eleven points from a possible sixteen.
“The team is improving and, as a result, the individuals are improving too,” the Argentine said.
“It’s very difficult for a player [Griezmann] to be better when the team is not playing well. They have improved and, so, our key players are growing.”
Simeone’s men face City rivals Real Madrid in LaLiga and the Argentine is hopeful Griezmann can help them triumph.
“It will be difficult for all of us to face Real Madrid, but I expect it to be a game which he can make more comfortable for us,” he added.
