Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he doesnt care about the views of United legend Paul Scholes.
The former England midfielder posited before United’s draw against Valencia that Jose Mourinho was “embarrassing Manchester United”
When the issue was brought up in the post-match, the Portuguese argued Scholes was just exercising is right to speech.
“I don’t need to know what he said. “He can say what he wants to say. I’m not interested.”
“Freedom of speech. It’s a free country, he can say what he wants.”
The United manager maintained a similar position when asked about United fans who booed at full-time.
“Freedom of speech. Especially Manchester United fans. I respect them 200 per cent.” Mourinho repeated.
Chants of “attack, attack” was heard at Old Trafford in the second half as United put up another uninspiring performance.
