UFC lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has called out Floyd Mayweather for a fight with hopes to do what McGregor couldn’t.

Nurmagomedov, 30, defeated McGregor to extend his MMA record to 27-0 and now wants to fight Mayweather who also has a 50-0 record in boxing.

Look who I ran into at tonight’s fights in Russia.

In an Instagram video filmed with Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather Promotions chief executive, the Russian said:

“Let’s go, Floyd, we have to fight now.

“50-0 v 27-0, two guys who never lose, why not? Because in the jungle there is only one king.”

“Of course I am the king because he could not drop McGregor and I dropped him easily.”

Since his fight with McGregor -one of the richest boxing matc ever- Mayweather has not had any bout. But the 41 has said he will come out of retirement to fight Manny Pacquiao before the year ends.

Nurmagomedov on the other hand has been suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for fighting his McGregor’s team.

Khabib has been offered $2m by rapper 50 Cent to join rival MMA promotion Bellator and also claims to have offers from WWE.
