The former Real Madrid president had suggested that the Belgium captain was being ‘enslaved’ at Stamford Bridge and should be granted his wish to join Madrid.

Calderon suggested the forward might need to join the European champions to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or. But when Sarri was informed of Calderon’s comments at a press conference, the Italian tactician rejecting such claims.
“I don’t know what to say. In the last three months he has been very happy, so I don’t think so.
“I think that he can win everything, including the Ballon d’Or here without playing in Spain.
