Former Real Madrid winger Steve McManaman has urged them the Spanish giants to move for Mbappe instead of Neymar.
Both Neymar and the frenchman were linked to Madrid in the summer as the European champions looked to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
They would have to smash the world record to bring either of PSG’s star forwards to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Quizzed by Marca on which of the players he would sign, McManaman said:
“Which would I prefer to play for Real Madrid right now? Mbappe.
“He’s younger, he’s 19 years old and I think that’s why you can teach him more, he would be easier to bring.”
Moves from Barcelona to PSG for Neymar and Ronaldo joining Juventus last summer strenghtens the Englishman believe the deal could happen.
“Of course it’s possible, everything is possible right now,” he added.
“I didn’t think that they [PSG] would pay so much for Mbappe. I didn’t think that Cristiano would leave Real Madrid either, but he has.”
