Stomach Infrastructure in EFCC Detention Camp Fayose Feed 150 Detainees

The embattled former governor of Ekiti state is clearly not letting his bail denial dampen his spirit.

After pleading not guilty to the 11-count charge against him, consequently, Fayose was denied bail by the presiding judge Mojisola Olatoregun. His court appearance was at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Reportedly he took his famous ‘Stomach Infrastructure’ scheme to the EFCC detention camp. The former governor allegedly fed 150 detainees amidst cheers.

Media aide, Lere Olayinka revealed in a tweet that detainees burst out singing the National anthem in a show of solidarity after eating their fill.

Furthermore, his largess did not end at just feeding detainees.

In addition, he reportedly obtained lawyers for detainees without access to legal representation. The former governor also promised to help those having challenges in meeting bail conditions.

Recall that since he stepped down as the executive governor of Ekiti state he has been in a tussle with EFCC.
