Nigeria’s Super Eagles have climbed four places up in the latest FIFA World ranking released on Thursday, October 25.

The team gained 16 points to moved from 48 position in September to 44th this month.

It was an expected move up the log after impressive showings in their double header against Libya.

Gernot Rohr’s side won both of their AFCON Qualifications games against the Mediterranean Knights in the last international break.

The three-time African Champions also move up in the continent to 3rd, ahead of Congo DR who drop to 4th.

Tunisia remains Africa’s highest ranked team(22nd in the world) while Senegal is 2nd (25th in the world).
