Peoples Democratic Party was on Thursday declared to the media that President Muhammadu Buhari should not be credited for the newly opened Airport terminal in Port Harcourt, noting it was a project ‘conceptualised, articulated and financed’ by the PDP administration.
The statement is coming few hours after Buhari commissioned the Airport terminal in Port Harcourt, the River State capital, alongside the state governor, Nyesom Wike.
In a statement released on Thursday by the National Secretary of PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan said:
“Nigerians were thoroughly amused when Buhari’s aides brought him to Port Harcourt,
“Rivers State, for the first time since his inauguration in 2015,
“Only to orchestrate another failed attempt to claim credit for projects executed by others.”
