Paris Saint-German winger Angel Di Maria says his team have to improve in Europe to match their more superior opponents.
PSG travel to Naples for their fourth game in the Champions League after their draw against the Italians in France.
The Parisien who also lost 3-2 to Liverpool in their previous game have a 100% record in their domestic .
And Di Maria wants the Ligue 1 champions to transfer that form to their European games.
“In Ligue 1 things are going very well, but in the Champions League we knew it would be difficult.
“Of course, we have suffered in the Champions League, but we are not the only ones.”
“The draw put us in a group with two superior teams, Liverpool and Naples, who are very strong at home.”
“We still have three important matches in the Champions League, which will be decisive,” he added.
“We have a good team, a great coach. If we play at 100% and we have a collective spirit, we can qualify for the last eight.”
“I have loved the last three years in Paris, where I have everything I need to play my best football.
“Every day, I feel honoured and motivated to be a part of such an ambitious project – unique in Europe.”
