Super Eagles Striker Odion Ighalo is in doubt about Nigeria’s clash against South-Africa after injuring himself playing for his club.
Ighalo pulled a hamstring on Wednesday in Changchun Yatai’s 2-2 home draw against Tianjin Quanjin in the Chinese Super League.
The 29-year-old withdrew 19 minutes into the game; replaced by Lasse Vibe following the injury.
The Super Eagles face Bafana Bafana in a crucial AFCON Qualifier November 17, 2018 in Johannesburg.
Ighalo was in fine form for the Eagles in their doubleheader against Libya, scoring five goals.
Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has already been ruled out of the game, with Theophilus Afelokhai taking his place in the team.
The Edo born forward is the second top scorer in the Chinese league, with 21 goals so far this season.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimeh and Isaac Success would be looking to get the nod in the game as Nigeria aims to avenge the 2-0 first leg loss to South Africa.
