Victor Moses is set to miss the Blues Europa League home game against PAOK on Thursday according to Maurizio Sarri.

The ex-Nigeria international will miss the game because of a back problem his manager has confirmed.

Eden Hazard will also seat this one after sustaining an ankle injury in the 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Speaking to the Press, the Italian confirmed the absence of both players from Thursday’s encounter.

“[Eden] Hazard is not a serious injury but he will not be able to play tomorrow,”

“I think we will be able to recover him for the game on Sunday. I spoke with the doctor 10 minutes ago and he told me Moses has a back problem this morning. So I think he will not be able to play tomorrow.

“Hazard 25 days ago had a back injury and now the ankle and so he has lost a lot of training, so it is normal he is not at the top of his physical condition.

“He will need another week of training and a couple of matches to be in the best physical condition.”

Recall that Victor Moses retired from international duty so as to focus on his club football. But the 27-year-old has not had it good under tge management of the former Napoli boss.

He has only managed five appearances(165 minutes) for Chelsea this season.
