Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democratic Party Lagos governorship candidate has officially declared his intention to run for Lagos gubernatorial seat.
Jimi Agbaje in an interactive session with the media on Saturday, December 1, chronicled his good plans for Lagos State.
Agbaje while addressing the newsmen said my campaign has just begun.
I will take my campaign to the major parts of the state to educate the electorates about my plans.
Highlighting his plans, Agbaje said transportation, education, and primary health care will be the key to his administration.
“Our youths on daily bases lose their lives on the high sea looking for a better life abroad”.
“I believe if there are adequate welfare, jobs, and education in the country, there would not be a rush in search of greener pasture in Europe”, Agbaje added.
Agbaje in his address stressed the need for light train in the city to ease gridlock, noting that he would do more to give Lagosians a better life.
The Pharmacist of a repute will face the ruling All Progressive Congress candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The elections will hold next year February 2019.
Agbaje it would recall first contested in 2007 on the platform of DPA but lost to Babatunde Fashola of the Action Congress.
Agbaje in 2015 won PDP ticket and contested against governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
JK as he is fondly called has entered the race again, making it third time running for Lagos State governorship.
