Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe has given a stern warning against the rigging of 2019 general elections.
Orubebe insisted that 2015 presidential election was rigged in favour of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The close ally of Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan became more popular during the 2015 presidential election
He accused the former chairman of INEC, Professor Attahiru Jega of being bias during the collation of 2015 presidential results.
Orubebe in his recent outburst said the ruling party have been taking advantage of power to rig governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun States
He noted that it would not be accepted during 2019 general elections.
“Nigerians should be given free hand to choose their choice President in 2019″.
“We will be on the ground to avoid any irregularities that occurred in Ekiti and Osun State governorship elections not to repeat it self in February 2019”. Orubebe enthused.
.Orubebe is gradually returning to the public glare as 2019 general election is approaching.
The former minister after PDP lost 2015 presidential election recoiled into his shell, avoiding the media.
