It’s another weekend to get busy and to try something new in the kitchen.
Today we will be learning on how to cook Miyan Kuka, it is also known as Luru soup.
It is a type of Nigerian dish from the Northern part of Nigeria.
This green soup is made with powdered baobab leaves and thickened lightly with fried okra
Dried ground okro
1 fresh chili
4 fresh tomatoes
Dry or fresh fish
6 tablespoons of palm oil
Salt to taste
If you are using fresh fish was it and season it with salt and pepper.
Grind tomatoes, onions, and chilies. Pour the stock in a large pot, add the grind ingredients and oil and cook for 15 minutes
After that, add the okra and Kuka leaves, stir and cook for 10 minutes, season to taste and serve hot with tuwo shinkafa
