Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democratic Party Lagos State governorship candidate, has declared that he is the next governor of Lagos State.
Agbaje on Tuesday dropped the hints to the media “ I have high hopes of becoming the next governor of Lagos State.”
“ I have promised to bring character, knowledge and many good economic policies that will help Lagosians to the table”, Agbaje enthused.
Highlighting his plans, Agbaje said transportation, education, primary health is sacrosanct.
While the good standard of living will be the key to his administration.
Agbaje who is desirous of taking over from Ambode said he would tackle the leadership problems in the state.
And establish a good structure that will address major issues in the state.
“The traffic in Lagos state is worrisome. I want to see how I can address infrastructural facilities that will ease the gridlock on Lagos roads”.
The Pharmacist turned politician noted that economic and social policies will be paramount after his inauguration in 2019.
Agbaje in 2007 contested on the platform of DPA but lost to Babatunde Fashola of the Action Congress.
In 2015 Agbaje won the PDP ticket and contested against governor Akinwunmi Ambode and lost again for the second time.
His current ambition makes it third time running for the Lagos state governorship race.
