The Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan on Tuesday sacked Ogun frontline politician, Senator Kashamu Buruj.
Senator Kashamu has been parading himself as Ogun PDP governorship candidate after October 2, 2018 judgment that recognized his faction.
The court also directed INEC not recognize the list of candidates submitted for the 2019 general elections by the party factional leader, Buruji Kashamu
With Tuesday’s ruling, the case has favoured the National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus and the National Secretary, Ibrahim Tsauri.
The counsel to Buruji Kashamu group, Ifeoma Esom after the ruling expressed dissatisfaction with the judgement of the court,.
She said her client had directed her to proceed to the Supreme Court.
Also commenting, Counsel to the PDP National office, Emeka Etioba (SAN) was satisfied with the judgement. Emeka commended the judges for the ruling.
With the outcome of the judgement, the coast is now clear for Ladi Adebutu .
Adebutu will now run for Ogun governorship on the platform of the party with the full support of the national leadership of the party
Adebutu’s name is already in the INEC before October 2 order of the lower court recognizing Kashamu’s list.
