Liverpool have been knocked out of this season’s FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the third round.
Goals from Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves either side of Divock Origi’s strike gave the host the win.
The defeat is the Reds second on the bounce after last weekend’s league loss against title rivals Manchester City.
Liverpool statarted the game with 17-year-old midfielder Curtis Jones and 18-year-old Rafael Camacho with Klopp making nine changes.
16-year-old Dutch defender Ki-Jana Hoever also came on in the sixth minute following an injury to Dejan Lovren.
Raul Jimenez gave the homeside a half time lead on 38 minute following an error from James Milner.
Divock Origi restored parity six minutes after the break with Liverpool’s first shot on target.
But the Reds were level only for four minutes before Ruben Neves’ winner. The Portuguese hit a ferocious shot fromm30-yards that dipped past Simon Mignolet at his near post.
This was the second time Wolves are knocking Liverpool out of the cup in three years. The Wanderers will now play away to the winner of Stoke and Shrewsbury in the fourth round.
Klopp’s men will now focus their attention on next weekend’s Premier League game against Brighton and Hove Albion.
