Learn 6 Simple Ways to Make your Eyes Brighter and Whiter

Make your eyes brighter and whiter in six simple steps

There are times when the white part (sclera) of our eyes become brown or red. They can lose their whiteness and brightness for a number of reasons, including pollen allergies, environmental issues or your lifestyle.

But there are natural tips and processes that can be used to make your eyes brighter and whiter. Find six of them below.

1. Reduce the number of hours you spend in front of the TV screen.

Spending too many hours in front of the TV affects the colour of your eyes.

Before you spend time in front of the TV, reduce the screen’s brightness and ensure that the room is well-lit.

When the light is too bright in a room, it makes you strain your eyes and this ultimately makes them reddish.

2. If you are going to spend the day outdoors on a sunny day, always put on your sunglasses.

They are as important as your sunscreen. The sunglasses protect your eyes from UV rays, which damage the eyes gradually.

3. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.

They are full of vitamins and antioxidants that clear any blemishes in the eyes.

Eat fruits rich in Vitamin C, carrot, green leafy vegetables and healthy nuts such as walnuts and almonds.

4. Exercise.

Exercises are good for the body. You need to exercise your eyes if you want them to be whiter and brighter.

Close your eyes tightly for some seconds then open them fast and wide. Repeat severally and with time, they will be whiter.

5.  Stay away from smoke or anything that can irritate your eyes.

Smoke, dust and other allergens should be avoided, as they can change the colour of your eyes.

Avoid sitting around people that smoke. Avoid cooking with stoves that release smoke, such as kerosene stoves and charcoal.

6. Drink a lot of water.

There is no such thing as drinking too much water. Drinking a lot of water is not only good for your skin but also for your eyes.

Dehydration can affect your eye colour.
