Moghalu, Durotoye Form Alliance To Wrest Power From Buhari
Former Central Bank Deputy Governor, Kingsley Moghalu, and the celebrated Motivational speaker, Fela Durotoye, have reached an agreement to form a coalition, to be known as ‘The Force’ that would lead to presentation of a single presidential candidate for the forthcoming general elections.
Moghalu is the YPP presidential candidate while Durotoye is from ANN political party.
The chairmen of the two political parties, Comrade Bishop Amakiri and Emmanuel Dania, have also confirmed the alliance to take over power from the ruling party, APC.
In a statement released to the media, they stated that the consensus presidential candidate will be presented in a matter of days as a mark of the group’s collective resolve to create a new Nigeria for the citizenry.
“We will also call on other political parties that are not with the two major parties; APC and PDP with the aim to consolidate more on the gains and plans already made,” the group noted.
The coalition is coming on the heels of the deliberate absence of President Muhammadu Buhari and PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, from the 2019 Presidential Debate held last week in Abuja.
One of the strongest opposition presidential candidates, Oby Ezekwesili, last week withdrew from the race to form a coalition group that will wrest power from the present administration and also save Nigerians from the claws of dictators.
As at the time of filing this report, Oby was yet to form any alliance nor join the train of ANN and YPP coalition group.
