Owners of the crashed Helicopter, Caverton Helicopters has given a reason for the crash as ‘unusual weather conditions’, rather than a mechanical fault.
The past few days has been one abuzz with news of how the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo escaped death, after his helicopter crash landed in Kabba, Kogi State.
The chopper that crash landed was an Augusta AW139 Helicopter under the management of Caverton Helicopters.
At the time, the cause of the crash was yet unknown, however Caverton Helicopters, the owners of the chopper that crashed has scrambled to exonerate themselves. Considering it was their bird in the sky that crashed with the Vice President as an occupant.
According to them, the reason for the crash was not a mechanical fault, rather unusual weather conditions at the time. Although the nature of the ‘unusual’ Weather conditions is yet unknown. Thus we can only assume it is an attempt by Caverton Helicopters for damage control.
