Eva Elohor Alordiah who hails from Delta State popularly called by her stage moniker Eva Alordiah was quite outspoken at the Social Media week 2019, which began on Monday 4th, 2019.

Recall that Eva's career kicked off in 2009 with her first studio recording titled ‘I Dey Play’ which gave the budding artist a tiny trickle of recognition for her unique style in the music industry.

Although Eva's rap style was unique, her journey as a rapper didn't come without hurdles. She tried her hands at collaborating with other artistes but her fame dwindled after a while.

In a bid to maintain her relevance as a star, Eva collaborated with an upcoming act, Caesar Ume-Ezeoke who has been in the industry for a while to stage a performance.

Furthermore, Caesar as he is popularly called organised rap battles on TV and also worked with COOL TV.

What would have been a professional relationship between Caesar and Eva Alordiah, quickly became a romantic one. At the time, tongues were wagging that their very public and ‘strategic’ proposal at the Headies Awards in 2016 was merely a publicity stunt and an attempt by the duo to ‘blow’.

There were even talks of a reality TV show between the ‘would be’ celebrity couple.

The proposal which would have been the talk of the event, was quickly eclipsed when there was a confrontation between two industry big dogs, Olamide and Don Jazzy.

The fact the buzz of her engagement fell flat, was indeed too much for the rap artist to bear. Thus she slid into depression and according to her she battled with it for two years.

And quickly disappeared from the limelight.

Lets not go into the heart rending news of Caesar and Eva’s break up after their very public engagement.

Get the juicy details below.

At the social media week, Eva was part of the panelist at the second day of the event. She advised attendees that the pressures of social media did more harm than good to individuals.

She also inferred that the media does not care about the mental well being of those who use social media.

Her assertions brought about a heated argument between herself and TV personality Idia Aisen, however a fellow panelist, Kate Henshaw intervened before it turned into a fist fight.

Eva still maintained that attendees should close all social media platforms, stop watching the box called Television and grab a book, she also emphasized that they unfollow all celebrities on social media as well.

Eva confessed that being away from social media helped clear her thoughts and propelled her in the right light.

Do you agree with Eva? or do you think she is being bitter about her failed attempt at stardom?
