Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari, will hold their grand finale rallies in their home states respectively today, Thursday, February 14, ahead of Saturday’s election.
Atiku is from Adamawa State in the North East and Buhari hails from Katsina State from the North West part of the Northern region.
According to the timetable released by INEC last year, the campaign for presidential and National Assembly campaigns which commenced on November 18, 2018, ends today, Thursday, February 14.
While the campaign for governorship and State House of Assembly will still continue to hold across the country till the end of February.
The president and his campaign team are presently in Katsina to hold the final APC presidential campaign.
Buhari is expected to stay back in his country home after the rally and vote on Saturday before his return to Abuja on Sunday.
In Adamawa State, the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, will also round off his rally to seek votes from his supporters and his people to win at the Saturday’s polls.
