The 12th edition of the Chronicles of Ushbebe (Election Edition) was a night of music, comedy, relaxation and fun.

Although it has become typical of Nigerian events to start behind schedule, the excitement of the show made up for the late start.

There was music from stars and upcoming artistes alike. One of the most noteworthy performances of the night was delivered by Bola Adigwe, a spoken word poet and upcoming musician, who carried the crowd along. Her performance was beautiful.

Akpan Okon was another upcoming artiste that wowed the audience with his calm and hilarious jokes.

Baba Kay delivered some of the most intellectually funny jokes at the show that night. His comedy focused primarily on Nigerian economy, perfectly replicating the Lagos traffic.

Home of lafta, two young men from Edo State, used drama to tell jokes about Benin.

Davolee, from YBNL, thrilled the crowd with his latest single "Way", which has received massive airplay.

Ushbebe had the most fun, grande entrance ever. Politicians and entrepreneurs on the tables, especially Okwudili Umenyiora, popularly known as 'Dilly' and rumoured to be one of Nigeria's under fifty billionaires, were targets of the comedian’s jokes. When asked about Tiwa Savage and Wizkid's absence this year, he replied that Tiwa was absent because Wizkid broke her heart.

The comedian also shaded Chioma, saying Davido likes older women.

It was observed, though, that quite a number of actors and actresses were absent. When Empress Njamah and her crew arrived at the event, they had to wait outside to be given VIP tickets before they could proceed inside.

Meanwhile, Oma Nnadi and her husband were all loved up throughout the show. When Ushbebe asked the number of times a couple should have sex a week, Oma cheekily screamed ten times a week, which got the crowd laughing hard.

Ushbebe also teased the owner of prominent night club, Obi Cubana, that he uses jazz to maintain his club. He used his platform to campaign for Shina Peller, owner of Lagos club Quilox.

After his first appearance, Ushbebe took a break to allow for musical acts. Johnny Drille thrilled the crowd with his state of the art electrifying performance. His voice was so beautiful, the ladies just couldn't get enough.

Mr. 2Kay's performance was flat. He kept screaming and couldn't own the stage.

Immediately Peruzzi climbed the stage, he stole the show with his music performance. People couldn't contain themselves anymore, they sang all his songs with him verbatim.

Comedian Larry J’s performance was one of the best of the night. He left the crowd roaring with laughter and in tears with his hilarious jokes.

While on stage, Helen Paul shaded Davido for shamelessly supporting all political parties as far as money was concerned. Patoranking gave an incredible performance, which got him a standing ovation from all present. Acapella remained undefeated that night with his intellectual comedy

Thrilling performances from Victor AD and Duncan Mighty made Yadadi 12 an unforgettable night. The night was indeed one to remember, as Ushbebe outdid himself.
