A video of one of Nigeria's top senators and wife of APC national leader, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, revealing to a voter that her party no longer trusts the Igbos (people from the eastern part of Nigeria) is currently causing heat on social media.
The former First Lady of Lagos who returned as a senator in Nigeria for the third time is seen on camera engaging a handicapped citizen who from the look of things, hails from eastern Nigeria.
In the amateur video shared by Punch, Mrs. Tinubu is seen walking towards the man who was seated by the walkway before she begins to engage him.
"Why una do us as una do us that day, e good? And now, we have won." she bragged.
"You vote for Buhari? How I go know? Igbo, we no de trust una again," she finished, as the man struggled to clarify who he voted for.
A lot of people have been criticizing her for the comments, especially the Igbos and supporters of the opposition party.
Recall that there were alleged attacks on Igbo dominated communities during the Presidential and senatorial elections two weeks ago. With members of various communities sharing photos and videos of them being disenfranchised.
