Tekno is taking no chances with his music career. His new single, ‘Up Tempo’, is definitely the best comeback of the artiste so far this year

Music star, Tekno, who suffered a major setback after losing his voice in 2018 and had to undergo a voice surgery, is defying all odds to make a big comeback in the music industry.

After his surgery, Tekno made a move many never saw coming by leaving the Made Men Music record label owned by Ubi Franklin. He went ahead to form his own record label called 'Cartel', under which he has released a few singles.

At the beginning of the year, he collaborated with Iyanya on a single but it didn't get a lot of airplay. He then went ahead to release a single, titled ‘Woman’, to commemorate International Women's Day. ‘Woman’ got some attention but it was neither phenomenal nor spectacular.

Tekno has taken the bull by the horns and decided to release a club banging single, titled ‘Up Tempo’, and a lot of people just can't seem to get enough of it.

Former label mates, Iyanya and Emma Nyra, as well as Paul O, founder of One Music Fest and company, Upfront and Personal, have gone ahead to congratulate Tekno on his latest single. Meanwhile, Ubi Franklin has not congratulated him.

Have you listened to Tekno’s single? What do you think of it?
