The acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Sunday, treated the good people of Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, to the grand wedding of his two children.
The high octane wedding, which attracted eminent personalities across the country, took place at the palace of of Emir of Lafia in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
While the son of IGP Adamu, Samanu Mohammed Adamu, exchanged his marital vows with Fatima Mohammed, the police high chief's daughter, Nafisat Mohammed Adamu, hooked Ibrahim Mohammed Ubandoma as her husband.
The Chief Imam of Lafia, Malam Dalhatu Dahiru, while presiding over the wedding, encouraged the two couples to sustain their love and affection for each other. He also wished them a successful marital life.
The wedding ceremony had Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Al-Makura, his Plateau State counterpart, Governor Simon Lalong, in attendance.
Others included Kano Deputy State Governor, Nasiru Gawuna, Senator George Akume among others.
The president's delegates were also on ground to felicitate with the police boss.
