Buhari is not pleased with Atiku’s controversial posters flooding the town of Abuja.
Controversial posters of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, on Tuesday surfaced in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The posters with the inscription ‘The Real and the Right,’ strategically pasted in the Central Business District within the Abuja City Centre, has so much created concern in the polity.
The controversial posters are coming a few days after the former Vice President contracted two American lawyers in Washington DC, United States, to lobby the US government as the winner of the last presidential election.
One of the Presidential aides, Lauretta Onochie, has reacted to the posters, stressing that it is better for Atiku to pursue his election petition at the Tribunal rather than engage in actions that may take him to jail for treason.
Findings, however, revealed that the posters were singlehandedly sponsored by an Adamawa based political support group called The Atiku Deservation Movement.
While the February 23 presidential election is still in court where Atiku is challenging Buhari’s victory, he has also devised other means to retrieve his stolen mandate with his latest moves.
