After MBP lingerie’s social media manager called out Toyin Lawani for allegedly stealing the business’ property and posting it as hers, Toyin has called out the owner.
While promising to arrest the owner of MBP lingerie, she claimed that it was in fact the CEO of the business who put out the initial message calling her out and not an IT girl or social media manager as the public was led to believe.
Toyin recounted how she spent money to help push the MBP business because of the relationship she had with the owner as old schoolmates. She also requested for an apology with immediate effect and for the initial post to be taken down.
MBP lingerie complied with Toyin's request to apologise but the serial entrepreneur wasn't having it. According to her, the apology was weak.
Toyin has capitalized on this issue to promote her lingerie line which she recently launched. Talk about a street wise businesswoman who understands that there's nothing like bad publicity.
This might just have been Toyin's plan all along to trend and publicly announce her new business.
