In a bid to reclaim his mandate from the ruling party through the tribunal, Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, is set to invite Microsoft, IBM and Oracle experts to confirm his claims of defeating President Muhammadu Buhari with over 1.6 million votes, as shown on the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The former Vice President, in his fresh response to the reply of the commission to his petition, identified the server where the results are kept as INEC_PRES_RSLT_SRV2019 and its unique Mac address as 94-57-A5-DC-64-B9 with Microsoft Product ID 00252-70000-AA535.

To further back up their evidences, Atiku and his party are also expected to tender INEC’s training manual on elections, a printout of the votes of candidates from smart card readers and a print out of the forensic audit report on the commission’s server.

Atiku is claiming to have won the February 23 presidential with 18, 356,732 votes to defeat the ruling party and President Muhammadu Buhari who he said polled 16, 741,430 votes.

In reaction to Atiku’s claim, Chidi Nwafor, the INEC’s Director, Information and Communication, noted in his statement on oath attached to the reply, denied the server results as claimed by the opposition party and its presidential candidate.

Nwafor added that all results for 2019 general elections were never transmitted electronically but collated manually.

The former Vice President insisted that the figures claimed were genuine, adding that he relies on Microsoft, IBM and Oracle experts, among other evidences to win at the tribunal.
