Since Democracy returned to Nigeria in 1999, quite a number of celebrities in the entertainment industry have embraced politics through political appointments.
Recall that the likes of Richard Mofe Damijo, Okey Bakassi, Tony One Week and most recently, Yul Edochie, were appointed as special advisers in their respective states of origin.
With the success of their colleagues in government, a few of them also contested in the last election in a bid to give politics a trial.
