Former Minister, Ogunlewe, and son defect to APC.
Former Minister of Works, Hon. Adeseye Ogunlewe, and his son, Moyosore, have dumped the People’s Democratic Party for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress.
The development Is coming barely a few weeks after Moyosore, a two time Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant, announced his resignation.
Many believe the former PDP Chieftain took the decision as an act of sacrifice for his son’s political future seems to be derailing after the circumstances that surrounded his constituency in Kosofe area of Lagos with INEC cancelling the election over missing ballot papers.
Recall in 2015, Moyosore contested for the seat and lost to Hon. Bayo Osinowo, a well known politician in the area.
Adeseye and his son have been accepted into the party at a recent APC victory party which had top party elders in attendance.
Shortly before the official declaration of their new party, the former minster had sent emissaries to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, apologizing for his wrong doing in the past and declared his intentions to become a member of the ruling party in Lagos.
Adeseye, in his message, also admitted the supremacy of Tinubu and confirmed him as the greatest politician in the South West.
