Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, on Tuesday, won her copyright case two years after Jude Idada and Chioma Onyekwe of Raconteur Productions filed a case against her, claiming ownership of the movie.

Recall that the duo of Idada and Onyekwe got an interlocutory injunction from the Federal High Court stopping Filmone and Dioni Visions from showing the movie at cinemas across the country.

The judgement was as a result of the premiere being cancelled on March 24, 2017.

Dismissing the case, Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court in his ruling said the plaintiff failed to prove credible evidence to claim ownership and authorship of the screenplay.

Oboli had earlier counter sued the plaintiff and is determined to pursue the case to a logical conclusion, her media office said in a statement on Tuesday.
