Excitement as Buhari breaks Ramadan fast with Saraki and Dogara.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, shared the spirit of the season when he hosted the leaders of the National Assembly to break the ongoing Ramadan fast.
Both the Senate President, Olubukola Saraki, and his House of Representative counterpart, Speaker Yakubu Dogara, became sworn enemies of the ruling party after decamping to the opposition party shortly before the election.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who led the officials to the feast at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja, was full of life and seen exchanging pleasantries with others at the event which was also attended by the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.
Others in attendance included Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Speaker, Yusuf Sulaiman Lasun, Senator Ahmed Lawan, Senate majority leader, and Femi Gbajabiamila, majority leader of the House of Representatives. The senate chief whip, Senator Adeyeye, was also part of the event.
