Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has shared first photos from his white wedding celebration which went down over the weekend.
The 22-year-old got married to his longtime girlfriend, Dinma Fortune, at a traditional ceremony on Wednesday before the white wedding celebration last Saturday.
Ndidi and his wife had been dating since their teenage years and eventually became a couple this past week.
The combative midfielder shared some loved up photos with his bride and captioned it “I’m indeed Fortunate” on his social media pages.
Ndidi's Leicester City teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho, and his close friends were in attendance to celebrate with him.
Super Eagles legend, Kanu Nwankwo, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) general secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, and second vice president of the federation, Shehu Dikko, were also present at the ceremony.
Ndidi, who has planned a long honeymoon with his wife after the AFCON, will spend some time with her before joining the Super Eagles training camp on June 2 in Asaba.
Nigeria kicks off their campaign in Egypt against Burundi on June 22, before battles against Guinea and Madagascar for their final Group B games on June 26 and 30 respectively.
