Davido Music World signed artist, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known by his stage name, Peruzzi, has admitted to slapping Nigerian social media influencer, Pamilerin.

Early on Monday morning, the media man shared a cryptic post on his Twitter handle that was later explained by other influencers who alleged he was assaulted by the music star at an event in Bayelsa.

Pamilerin had written some harsh words about Peruzzi in January when Teni Entertainer pipped him to an award and he went online to protest his snub.

But following the backlash he received, Peruzzi has now gone on live radio to apologise for his action.

Peruzzi was called on the midday oasis show on Cool FM Lagos by Hypeman Dotun who sought to hear the singer's side of the story that was fast making the rounds on social media.

Dotun started by asking about Peruzzi's well-being before making sure he was comfortable speaking about the issue live on air.

Sure that the singer was comfortable, the On Air Personality then proceeded to ask him about the events from over the weekend.

Peruzzi told his side of the story and claimed he didn't intend to blow the issue out of proportion, rather, he wanted to have a man to man conversation with Pamilerin but was instead provoked by the influencer's reaction.

He said he called him and asked if they had had any previous dealings where he offended him and 'Pam Pam', as he is known online, said no. Then he asked why he said the things he said about him online, but instead of answering him, he started laughing.

This provoked him and made him slap him in public space.

While Peruzzi admitted to slapping Pamilerin and apologised for it, he refuted claims that he assaulted him.
