See Why Flavour Nabania Adopted The Young Liberian Singer, Semah, As His Son

Nigerian high life musician, known by his stage moniker, Flavour Nabania or Okeke to his friends, shocked many when he adopted young visually impaired Liberian singer, Semah. Flavour already had two beautiful daughters from two different women. So, many wondered his craving for a son influenced his decision to adopt Semah.

The singer never revealed the reason why he went outside Nigeria to adopt a child until now. A fan from Liberia opines that Flavour had no intention of adopting till he met the young singer and discovered he was blind.

According to this fan, Semah was a big fan of Flavour Nabania and sang most of his songs in Liberia at bars and events. On a fateful day, a woman who was obviously impressed with his rendition of the Nigerian songs allegedly approached the young lad and asked what he wanted the most. Semah replied that he wanted to see Flavour more than anything in the world.

The woman was said to have arranged for the meeting, and Flavour upon seeing the young boy, began legal process to adopt him as his. The rest they say is history.

Flavour has gone ahead to include Semah in his family and now treats him as his own blood. They even released a song together and the reception was great. The father and son are currently in the United States on vacation.
