Former member of the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, on Wednesday described Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, as a hypocrite, noting that President Muhammadu Buhari and the national leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would soon see the other side of El-Rufai.

The prominent Kaduna-born politician posted the message on his Facebook handle while responding to El-Rufai’s comment.

The governor, on his earlier post, had attacked Sani and a former lawmaker, Senator Suleiman, mocking and boasting that he was behind their defeat in the last elections.

The former senator, in his reaction to El-Rufai’s outburst, said the governor is a neophyte who relies on the fame of the president to win elections.

He added that his recent loss to become the Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum is an indication that he cannot do without a godfather.

“You can’t claim to have ‘retired’ anyone from politics when all your life is about hanging on President Buhari and dropping his name to achieve your goals.

“You have yet to prove your ‘power of retirement’ by standing on your feet though the recent one you did was trying to be the chairman of governors’ forum and you woefully failed.

“Your treacherous history of jumping from one godfather to another is well-known to all Nigerians.

“And I have always believed that it’s a matter of time before PMB will have a taste of your patented venom and perfidy once you reach a point that he is of no further importance to you,” Sani stated
