A picture of Omo-Agege kneeling before Buhari recently surfaced online and this has got people talking.
Tongues have continued to wag after the picture of the new elected Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, kneeling before the President Muhammadu Buhari went viral on the internet.
While many are against the action of Omo-Agege and have accused him of being too joyful, others believe it was a sign of respect and a show of appreciation to the president for his support for the leadership of the ninth National Assembly.
The pictures were taken at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday with the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan, and few other senators who were meeting with the President.
Omo-Agege, a representative of Delta Central Senatorial District, defeated the former Senate Deputy President, Ike Ekweremadu, with 68 votes to 37 votes.
Ekweremadu has since accepted the will and the verdict of the result and congratulated his successor.
