Actress and producer, Ruth Kadiri Ezerika, has taken out time to pen words of advice to young and upcoming actresses in Nollywood.
The actress advised young actresses who want to get married to nurture their relationships as they also groom their career. She explained that most actresses are too focused on making it to the top that they mostly ignore their relationships and eventually become single when they finally make it in their career.
The actress might be talking from experience, as it is rumoured that she allegedly got married to a man who is based outside Nigeria and already has children with his first wife who also isn't based in Nigeria.
It may seem that the actress might have been too focused on her career as well and paid no mind to her relationship. She was, therefore, presented with no other choice than to settle for a married man with kids.
Her write-up also sheds light on the fact that actresses in Nollywood frolic with married men and women. Some others desperately force themselves into a loveless or abusive relationship just because their biological clock continues to tick.
These days, actresses see it as the norm to settle into polygamous relationships as third, fourth wives. Some even go as far as becoming sixth wives, all because they need society to applaud them as being complete, having achieved a successful career and a beautiful home.
