11 Warning Cancer Signs Every Man Must Know

Most people don't go for checkup until after they start feeling some symptoms. It is important to go for checkup regularly, as the best time to treat a disease is when it is detected early.

Most of the symptoms of cancer are always mild but can become severe when they are not checked early. Below are signs of cancer every man should watch out for:

1. Pain when urinating

Some men urinate often, especially at night. They might feel pain when urinating or after urinating. Once you start feeling an urgent need to go to the toilet frequently you must visit the hospital as soon as possible.

2. Changes around your testicles

If you notice some changes around your testicles, make sure you have it checked. It could be a lump or any other thing.

3. Bloodstains in your stool

Having blood in your stool or urine might be signs of cancer of the kidney or bladder or even colon or urinary infections. The best thing is to visit the hospital to get yourself examined.

4. Changes on your skin

Once you notice some changes on your skin, maybe a change in colour or some strange spots on your skin, see a doctor as soon as possible.

5.  Difficulty in swallowing

You might find it difficult to swallow, although the pains might not be persistent. But if the pain is persistent, you are vomiting and also losing weight, you might need to see your doctor.

6. Frequent heartburns

Persistent heartburns might be a sign of throat cancer. Once you start having heartburns frequently, visit the nearest hospital.

7. Changes in the mouth

Men who smoke regularly are at a high risk of throat and stomach cancer. The sign of both cancers could be white patches around the lips and mouth

8. Weight loss

If you notice you are losing weight for no reason and you have not been working towards losing weight, you should pay attention. Not all weight loss is a sign of cancer, though. It could be a sign of stress or other ailments.

9. Changes around the breasts

It is not only the women that can develop breast lumps. Men can also develop a great lump. It is not all breast lumps that are cancerous, but It is advisable to get any lump checked.

10. Having a high fever

This could be a sign that your body is reacting to something or fighting an infection. But if the fever is persistent, this could be a sign of leukemia ( blood cancer) which needs urgent attention.

11. Constant cough

If you don't smoke and you have a constant cough that is accompanied by blood, you might need to see a doctor. If your breath ceases every second, you need to visit the hospital.
