The disease of colourism has eaten quite deep in today’s world, such that somebody who is a shade lighter in complexion is seen as beautiful.

The craze for a lighter skin tone is clearly not limited to just adults as children are inadvertently dragged into quest for beauty, they did not ask for.

Below are celebrities, who the grapevine speculate may have ‘bleached’ their children’s skin.

1. Lilian Esoro: the gorgeous actress turned business woman was married to former label boss, business man and serial ‘impregnator’ , Ubi Franklin.

While their marriage was short lived with heavy cheating rumours from both parties; speculations of domestic violence and Ubi Franklin’s dire financial strait the union was blessed with a son.

Their beautiful son, Jayden who was born dark skinned is beginning to look much lighter. A close look at the little boy will shockingly reveal sun burn and dark patches on his skin.

Recall that Lillian Esoro is naturally dark skinned and she is also toning her skin because she is looking lighter these days.

2. Laura Ikeji: the fashion influencer has been quite open about her skin lightening journey so far.

Initially a dark skinned beauty, she decided to transition to a lighter complexion and has since started using bleaching products. A face to face interaction with the social media celebrity, will reveal visible dark knuckles.

That's not all, as rumour mongers say she may have also tagged her son along on her skin lightening journey.

Laura Ikeji is from a family of dark skinned people so is her husband Ogbobekee but her son is lighter in complexion due to the alleged skin lightening cosmetics used on him.

4. Toyin Lawani: the serial entrepreneur also has a cosmetic brand which she claims is produced with ingredients purely from nature.

This she has repeatedly admitted is responsible for her fair and flawless skin. Her son Tenor Maine was a product of her relationship with a young man from Rivers State called Lord Trigg and Tenor is a naturally light skinned cutie.

Clearly mama Toyin is not taking any chances that he may lose his coveted fair skin. Rumour has it that he may be the test subject for his mom’s skincare line for kids and this is responsible for his extra white flawless skin.
