The newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Sunday visited Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress.

The visit is coming a few days after the Majority Leader paid homage to Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu.

The honourable Federal Speaker had earlier paid homage to President Muhammadu Buhari a day after his inauguration.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and a few other lawmakers from Abuja were present at the Abuja residence of Tinubu where other APC leaders were in attendance.

The lawmaker, who is representing Surulere 1 from Lagos State, emerged Federal Speaker a couple of weeks ago.

He is expected to run the affairs of the house for the next four years
