Yesterday, one of the biggest gists on social media besides Burna Boy's BET Award win involved Wole Soyinka and a fine, well-built young man who had asked the professor to vacate his window seat before their journey.

As the story was told, the professor had made his way into the plane before the man to whom the window seat was allocated. So, he sat on the window seat pending the arrival of the owner.

But a few moments later, the well-built man boarded the plane and walked in the direction of his seat only to fine the professor sitting on it. He politely asked the Nobel Laureate to vacate the seat but not without murmurs from the other passengers on the flight.

Mr. Tonye Cole, who was one of the passengers on the flight, narrated the story on social media before expressing his disappointment at the young man's behaviour.

"I couldn’t understand how we got to this point where we no longer have respect for elders, even if we are so ignorant of the great global personalities in our midst. Is it too much to ask that an elderly man be allowed to remain in a seat allotted to you in the same business class cabin and the same row? Na wa o!" he wrote in an Instagram post.

Tonye's assertion about the younger generation being disrespectful was supported by a few other celebrities, including Ali Baba, Gbenga Adeyinka, Mo Abudu, Kate Henshaw and even Fani Kayode.

With the elders concluding on the case without even hearing from the accused, the youths came out in defense of 'Bobo fine', stating clearly that he had done no wrong, with some even concluding they would have done same in such situation.

Eventually, someone came on the gram and took on the gown of 'Bobo fine' and wore it fittingly.

"I am the young guy! Yes, the one in question with a baseball cap and t-shirt. I am unashamed to be at the prime of my youth, in fact, I blushed a little bit after reading your description of my chest and muscles. Is thanks to strong discipline that I live a fit life and I am able to go to the gym on my tight schedule.

"Prof didn't mind getting up and in fact, he confided in me as we chatted later on the flight that he would have done the same and that he was more embarrassed by the undue attention. Prof and I actually have a few things in common, we are both in academia, I have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and teach nano electromagnetic theory at the University of Mannittawiw.

"He said to me that he thinks that Nigerian youth need to stand up more for themselves than we do and he spoke to me about the ideals they tried to promote when he co-founded a secret society in his youth.

"I have read up on him now and know for sure that Wole Soyinka is a great man but I sadly was not taught about him in school. We exchanged contact information and I will certainly stay in touch.

"Please note that I am on the Autism spectrum and need the view from the window to keep me from getting sick on the plane hence my insisting on taking the window seat. Finally, Brother Tonye the words on your lap are very inspiring "Everything you want is on the other side of not giving up."

Although he has been found out not to be the actual "Bobo fine", Tosin Odunfa, literally wrote about some of the possible reasons and conditions that would have made the 'Bobo fine' ask for his seat, while also adding what could have been a possible reaction from the professor.

Give it up for him, guys!!!
